THE PLUMBERS TAX SAFE PLAN
Hot on the heels of last year’s Tax Health Plan for medical practitioners, HM Revenue & Customs last week announced the latest in a series of tax amnesties for plumbers called The Plumbers Tax Safe Plan (‘PTSP’).
People who work in the plumbing, heating or gas installation industries who may not have declared all of their income to HMRC are being targeted by the PTSP. However, HMRC has said that ‘very similar terms’ will be offered to anyone who wants to make a disclosure – not just those in the plumbing industry. Therefore if other taxpayers have under-declarations to report there is an opportunity to use this scheme.
